Baptist Health and Caregility Enhance Collaboration for Improved Patient Care

Friday, May 10, 2024

Baptist Health and Caregility have expanded their partnership to improve patient care across Baptist Health's healthcare organization in Arkansas.

Baptist Health will enhance its bedside care teams by deploying Caregility's telehealth devices to over 700 bedsides system-wide, doubling its inpatient telehealth services.

Initiative integrates virtual clinical resources into bedside care, aiming to improve patient outcomes and meet evolving needs.

Baptist Health's success with virtual admissions and discharge programs, supported by over 300 Caregility telehealth devices across 11 hospitals, has seen a significant increase in telehealth visits since 2021.

In 2023, Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute launched Arkansas' first virtual nursing program, extending support to nurses, patients, and families, later expanding to hospitals in Stuttgart, Malvern, and Heber Springs.

To support this expansion, Baptist Health will deploy Caregility's telehealth devices and Caregility Cloud™ platform to over 500 patient rooms in Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock, and Baptist Health-Fort Smith.

These devices will facilitate virtual nursing services and support staff in the future. Additionally, a centralized hub for virtual nursing and sitters has opened at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.

This expansion as crucial for their healthcare strategy, aiming to advance health equity and set new standards in patient and provider satisfaction.

This collaboration aims to alleviate pressure on bedside staff by redistributing tasks to virtual nurses and support staff, resulting in time savings and improved patient throughput.

Caregility Cloud™ enables health systems to centralize and scale virtual care programs, enhancing staffing flexibility and workflow efficiency.
